Therapeutic ultrasound
High-frequency sound waves from the ultrasound head of our BTL combined-therapy unit pass through the skin to the deeper tissues, where they are used as an adjunct aiming to:
- Support healing of tendon and ligament injuries
- Reduce inflammation and swelling
- Release soft-tissue adhesions in fascia, tendons and ligaments
- Improve local circulation and joint mobility
Like IFT, ultrasound is an adjunct within a treatment plan and is not offered at your first visit.
Add-on treatments (£35 · 15 min) are added to an initial assessment or follow-up visit and cannot be booked on their own. Equipment-based treatments follow an initial assessment.
